At the bottom of the sea, the dark blue sea/
Breathing cold water in rows and schools/
When my body and head have grown as large as they will/
Swimming together with my dearest pals/
I flap my tail and dance as I please//
Only to be caught in the net of some gentle fisherman/
After a look or around Wonsan, a fairly nice place to live/
And when I've been mummified like an Egyptian Pharaoh/
A poor and lonely man/
Writing poetry late into the night, knocks back a swig of soju.//
I may end up his snack/
I may wind up his poem/
And even if piece-by-piece/
I'm torn apart, until nothing is left of my body/
Let only my name remain/
Pollack, Huh. I'm a Pollack, Huh. Let that part of me remain in this world. 접기 |
